José́ Rafael Lantigua (1949) fue Ministro de Cultura de la República Dominicana y Comisionado de la Feria Internacional del Libro de Santo Domingo de 2004 a 2012.LantiguaHa sido galardonado con numerosos premios literarios y culturales, entre ellos Premio Nacional de Periodismo, categoría Patrimonio Cultural (Club de Prensa Extranjera, 1989), Premio Nacional de Ensayo, Centenario de Duarte (1977), Caonabo de Oro (Asociación Dominicana de Periodistas y Escritores, 2000). ), Premio Pro-Cultura (Ateneo Amantes de la Luz, Santiago de los Caballeros, 2003), Premio Narciso González al Intelectual del Año (Taller literario Virgilio Díaz Grullón y Casa de Arte, Santiago de los Caballeros, 2003), Premio de la Academia (Academia Dominicana de la Lengua, 2003), entre otros. Ha publicado numerosos libros y artículos entre los que destacan: Domingo Moreno Jimenes, biografía de un poeta (1976), La conjura del tiempo, memorias del hombre dominicano (1994), La conducta literaria: el discurso fundacional (2008), Crónica de arte o el arte de la inducción cultural (2009), Venir con cuentos: muestrario del cuento dominicano (2012), y La palabra para ser dicha (2012), Espacios y resonancias (2016), Un encuentro con el comandante (2016), Iniciación de la tarde (2021) entre muchos otros. |
